Roadtrip To Malaga (part 1)

We were thinking a quite while doing this: a bmx-roadtrip to Malaga - to the so called bmx-capital of Spain. In the region of Malaga reside some of the bmx-pros you can see on bmx-movies and during the year loads of bmx-riders travel there to enjoy the sunny weather and some stunning riding spots.

Well, Malaga is very far away from Bilbao and that's why we did stops also in Madrid as we went and as we returned. The region of Madrid have also a lot to offer for bmx-riders. For example: almost infinite number of street-spots and also some nice skateparks...

I was more than happy to do the trip with my French friends: JR and Pil. Thanks mates! We packed all the three bikes and all the equipment to Pil's faithfull Peugeot 205 and we pushed the pedal to the metal...

[below 6] The skatepark of Pinto, Madrid, have some really funny lines...

[below] Our first night place in Santa Elena close to the border of Andalucia.

[below 4] The new skatepark of Antequera 50 km's of Malaga.

[below 2] During the trip we had some problemes with a bearing of the 205. Fortunately it made it to the end! Here we're doing some repair work on the beautiful coast of Malaga.

[below] The best part of the dirt of Benalmadena, 20 km's from Malaga.

[below all] The dirt of Ruben in Torremolinos, 10 km's from Malaga. It was the best dirt I've ever seen... Wait for some video footage to realize how good it really is.

This is not all we did during the trip. To be continued in the parts 2 and 3...
